Happy 1 Year Anniversary ChrisEccleston.com

August 31st, 2008 | Category: Chris Eccleston, Site News

Yes it is true! ChrisEccleston.com has been around for a year and continues to keep growing and getting stronger! We have gone through many changes and I am adding new things everyday and I appreciate everyone who has visited here!

Then…

 Now…

I am very proud of ChrisEccleston.com and the way it has grown. To be honest when I first started the site I looked at it like a hobby. I never knew it would get this big. It has now consumed my life, but in a good way. There has never been an actor who has motivated me enough to put so much time in one task. Thank you Mr. Eccleston for giving me reason. You are a wonderful performer and I will continue to work on this site for many years to come.

Thank You everyone your support this first year… I love you all!

Heroes Season 1 Screencaps Finished

August 30th, 2008 | Category: Chris Eccleston, Gallery, Heroes, Television

I have finished all the screecaps for the Heroes Episodes that Chris appeared in. You can find them in the ChrisEccleston.com Gallery. There is a total of 1,234 screencaps from Godsend, The Fix, Distractions, Unexpected and Company Man. Not many because he didn't appear in Heroes as much as we wanted him to. Well we still have Season III.

I have also added a new section of fan art called Motivational Posters. If you have anything that you want to add to the fan art section just email them to me. I will also be adding Cracker to the Gallery list soon.

Enjoy,

Poor Chris Cornered in Costco

August 25th, 2008 | Category: Chris Eccleston

Found this clip on YouTube.com where a woman sees Chris at Costco and drops her grocery shopping to get this clip…

Description: My mum met Christopher Eccleston in Costco, bless him. Just got out of the mens toilets and mum left her food on the conveyor belt just to get this.

It just goes to show you how patient and friendly of an actor he is. Any other actor would have told this woman who is giving him orders to p*** off!

Digital Spy Video Interview with Tim Kring about Heroes III

August 24th, 2008 | Category: Chris Eccleston, General, Television

Everyone is waiting for Heroes to return in September. The big question is will Chris be returning for season 3? I myself, unfortunately, do not believe so because of his schedule. Lets just hope I am wrong. I will be jumping and screaming in my chair if I see him in season 3.

Here is the video interview Digital Spy did with Tim Kring talking about what will be going on in Season 3 of Heroes. Around 8:40 he mentions Christopher Eccleston.

The Gallery Fixed

The ChrisEccleston.com Gallery is running correctly now and there should be no more broken thumbnails. If you see a broken thumbnail please contact me at Ness@ChrisEccleston.com so I can fix it. It should be ok but you never know.

Tropical Storm Fay Went Away… for now

Amazing… Fay was headed right for the Tampa Bay Area, the area I am from, and then took a right turn headed north east. Everyone was sure that we would get hit and there would be flooding. We didn't even get any rain. I went to the grocery store on Monday to buy some canned food and batteries and the place was packed with people crazily shopping for the upcoming "disaster". One woman in the store started screaming because there was no gallon jugs of water left and she shouldn't be forced to buy expensive 24 packs.  Luckily I was plenty stocked up on jugs of  water because I have 3 fish tanks at home. I wondered if she would have hunted me down if she knew that information. You snooze you loose, right?

Fay grounded herself in Florida on Monday hitting Miami and making it's way toward us. They were saying on the news that Fay should hit the Tampa Bay area by 2 am Tuesday Morning. Fay hit Ft Myers, only an hour away from me, and then Tuesday made a sharp turn east like a crazy driver being chased by the police. It was kind of sad that she had diverted her way around us so quickly after so many people here invested their time and money in her arrival. It seemed a few people were upset about it. How can you be upset about something like that after Katrina. People are weird and unpredictable during a disaster, like Fay.

A miracle… or is it?

I have lived here in the area for over 16 years and I have yet to see a category 5 hurricane. The closest I have come is a category 3 which really isn't that bad. I actually delivered pizzas in a category 3 hurricane. It is amusing to hear people comment on how lucky we are or saying things like "God is holding out on us because when we do get hit, we will get hit BIG." Phhfft. I want to ask those people, "Why are you still here then?." Seriously luck nor God have nothing to do with it.  I cannot totally explain the steps to you because I am not a scientist, but the reason we don't get hit so hard is because of the location we are in. Having to do with pressure and some other things relating to the Earth and Water. Its ALL scientific, but I guess people have to blame it on someone.

Fay Coming Back?

They are saying that Fay is moving north east toward the outer part of Florida and then may circle around and hit Florida again. They are not sure what part of Florida but whatever she does it won't be so bad because while she continues to stay on land she loses strength so if she circles around again she will still remain a Tropical Storm and not even reach a category 1 hurricane.

I am not worried. The only thing that worries me about harsh weather is when electricity goes out along with the internet. Everything else I can handle calmly, but playing UNO with my family for 6 hours to 2 days can drive you insane to the point where you wish you could just hide under the couch like your cat. Did I mention that my parents and my older brother live in trailers and during times like these they come and stay with me, my fiance and my son in my cramped two bedroom apartment. Out of the way cat, under the couch I go!

Hurricane Fay Headed my way

August 18th, 2008 | Category: General

I reside in Manatee County located in Florida. We have a new hurricane headed our way and her name is Faye. Right now it is actually just a tropical storm, moving at 65 mph but it is just 10 mph from gaining hurricane status. We are expected to get up to 8-10 inches of rain. Luckily we are on the second floor. It was my sons first day back to school today and now they are saying schools are closed tomorrow. I am sure he is disappointed.

The town that I live in has seen a few hurricanes but not of this magnitude. Whenever there is a hurricane we seem to get the lightest part of it. Not this time. We are going to see some hard wind and rain.

So friends if I go disappearing for a couple hours or days no worries, it is just mother nature trying to put us stupid apes in our place.

Take care everyone and I will keep you updated,

If you have visited the Gallery and you notice broken thumbnails throughout the pictures, no worries I am working on it. You can click on the broken thumbnails and still see the full picture. Things should be running normally tomorrow as soon as I get the module for the bug installed.

Sorry for the inconvenience,

1,695 FANTASTIC Screencaps for Clocking Off!!!

August 15th, 2008 | Category: Chris Eccleston, Gallery, Television

After getting a few requests I decided to work on some Screencaps for Clocking off. So here they are!

Clocking off was a British Television Series that started in 2000. Each episode focuses on different members of the work force at Mackintosh Textiles.

There is only one episode that Chris appeared in titled Yvonne's Story. Since there is only one episode with Chris I made sure to get plenty of shots of him! I will also be adding video clips from the show sometime this week.

Update: I have been made aware that Chris appeared in another episode of Clocking Off titled Steve's Story. It was a 45 sec appearance and I will be adding those screencaps to the Clocking Off Gallery. Thanks Alex!

Chris plays a sexy Air Traffic Controller in Clocking Off…

Enjoy!

Interview with Chris on Friday Night with Jonathan Ross

August 14th, 2008 | Category: Chris Eccleston, Doctor Who, Television

I have added one of the favorite interviews among Chris fans, myself included, to the Interview Clips category. Chris talks about the new Doctor Who series with Jonathan Ross and for the first time gets a glance of the prototype for the Ninth Doctor action figure. Very funny clips. If you haven't seen them before, you don't want to miss out!

Enjoy!
