Your Visions on TH.2058… Chris Reads the Winning Entries
Source:Tate Online
At Tate Modern's Turbine Hall you will find French artist Dominique Gonzalez-Foerster's work, TH.2058. The exhibit imagines a London besieged by an unseen threat. Now the Tate Gallery is holding a writing competition on your visions of TH.2058.
TH.2058 looks 50 years into the future to a London of incessant rain and sculptures kept from growing like weeds. This is your chance to share your vision of 2058 by adding your short story. All submissions will appear here. At the end of January, six stories will be selected by a panel of judges (including writer Jeff Noon and Dominique Gonzalez-Foerster) to form an audio book voiced by Christopher Eccleston, which will be available for download once it is produced.
Good Luck to everyone who enters!

Save Our Brina!
Brina is our 7 year old cat and we found out tonight that she is going to need surgery. She is like family to us and if you have a pet you know how I am feeling right now. We found out the surgery will cost us a little over 2,000 dollars and that is after our pet deductible! If you want to help save our Brina you can send a donation to our Pay Pal account(a Pay Pal account is not required). Every little bit helps, even if you can only spare 5 dollars, Brina will love you for it and she will send you a thank you card.
A lil about Brina…
Full Name: Sabrina Jean
Favorite Toy: Milk Rings
Talent: I can say MaMa
What I love: To chase the lizards until they go to sleep
I AM A CHRIS FAN TOO!!!

UPDATE ON BRINA: She had surgery on Monday and the vet pulled out a massive hairball out that was affecting her liver.
12/30/08 AM: She couldn't even raise her head up she was so weak, she didn't look good at all. I was worried. I went to see her after I got off of work the same day and she had gotten a little stronger, she could move her head and she hissed at the girl who was trying to feed her! GOOD SIGN! I got to hold her while the nurse cleaned out her cage. She was purring.
12/31/08 AM: I called up the vet and she said that they were able to feed Brina a half a can of food and that she was moving around more. I am so happy! I will be going to visit her soon and I will keep you up to date!
1/1/09: I did not get to see Brina today. The vet was closed because of the Holiday.
1/2/09 AM: Went into the vet to see her before work and the vet said that she thought that Brina should go home and see if she would start to eat more there. After work I picked her up and as soon as we walked in the door she started meowing. She knew she was home and she is happy here. She has a hard time walking on her back legs because of the stitches. She isn't eating on her own yet but I am hoping through the night she will get more comfortable and start to eat on her own.
We love you Brina!!!

Ninth Doctor clip in Doctor Who's The Next Doctor
Chris fans were hoping and praying that the rumors of the Ninth Doctor being in the Doctor Who Christmas Special would turn out to be true. Unfortunately and as I suspected what we got was a past clip of the Ninth Doctor from the First Series of Doctor Who. In fact they showed all 10 Doctors. I have to admit though seeing Chris(even in black and white) made my eyes light up and gave me a lil' giggle. He still has that effect.
I honestly don't see Chris jumping on the Doctor Who bandwagon again, but that is ok, he has proven that he can play ANY role and that he is "the one and the only".
Enjoy,

Chris reading Christmas stories for BBC Radio2
Source:BBC Radio2

I am sure everyone has heard that Chris will be reading fours different Christmas Stories on BBC Radio2. A package called The Devils Christmas.
22 Dec 2008 00:00–00:18
BBC Radio 2
The Signalman 1/4. By Charles Dickens. The ghostly tale of a haunted railway tunnel.
23 Dec 2008 00:00–00:18
BBC Radio 2
The Necklace 2/4. By Guy de Maupassant. A young wife yearns like Cinderella to go to the Twelfth Night ball.
24 Dec 2008 00:00–00:18
BBC Radio 2
Thurlow's Christmas 3/4. John Kendrick Bangs' tale about a demon, a mysterious stranger and a magical manuscript.
25 Dec 2008 00:00–00:15
BBC Radio 2
The She-Wolf 4/4. By Saki. At a winter house party, one unbearable guest has pretentions to be a master of the dark arts. There is consternation all round when he turns his hostess into a wolf and then can't seem to turn her back again.
Although these are very unitainable(especially when you live in the states) I am doing my best to find a way to obtain the stories. In the mean time I am adding a new section to ChrisEccleston.com for Audio Clips. I hope you enjoy!

Adele is wearing the Mystical Dreams, just one of the three designs I have made for ChrisEccleston.com. If you want to see the other designs you can see them at CE.COM T-shirts . Now I am not selling the t-shirts just yet. I am giving them as prizes for Little Hulton Competitions so I encourage EVERYONE to become a member of Little Hulton and try and win a CE.COM T-shirt.

Little Hulton November Competiton… Why I Am Thankful For Chris
Why I Am Thankful for Chris… by Ness@ChrisEccleston.com
Since 2005 when seeing Chris for the first time as the Doctor I never knew the impact he would have on my future. I had seen Chris in films before but they were small parts that didn't give him a chance to shine. When seeing him as the Doctor I said out loud to my family "Hey isn't that the guy from 28 Days Later"? After that first episode, Rose, I was hooked and I couldn't wait to see the next episode with him as the Doctor. After that episode I became what Doctor Who fans call a Whovian. Because of his role as the Doctor I made many friends all over the world and I know for a fact I would have NEVER gone to the UK without his acting influence. I have not only enjoyed him in Doctor Who but I continue to be entertained by him in many other films. He is a charitable and mature soul and continues to prove that he can pull off any role handed to him. I have never seen an actor that has motivated me enough to create a website for them and continue to maintain it and be proud of it. He has also handed me the many friendships I have received over the years. So to wrap this up Chris has brought me joy, friendship, laughter, motivation and so much more. That is why I Am Thankful for you Chris. You will always have a fan here in Florida.
For the Little Hulton November Competition I asked members to show me "Why I am Thankful for Chris". I thought this was a wonderful opportunity for members to express why they loved Chris and what influences he had on them. I had some wonderful entries and this time I did a poll for the winner instead of me doing the judging. It was close but in the end Kate won the competition with her winning video Why I Am Thankful for Chris… The Movie.
Congratulations Kate! Your ChrisEccleston.com T-shirt is on the way!

To enter the competitions you have to join The Little Hulton Community. The people there are fun and friendly. It is laid back but most importantly there is no drama. Join up and meet other Chris fans like you. Hope to see you there!
