I was watching TV last night and saw an advert for the repeat of the series "The League of Gentlemen". From what I have seen of this series it never really interested me and I never understood the humor, but I tracked down the episode Chris was in on You Tube.
Quote:Amateur magician Dean Tavalouris takes his act onto the streets of Royston Vasey, Kenny Harris's Dog Cinema faces competition from an old adversary, and Keith Drop's real identity is revealed to complete the interlinked endings. All I can say is that it is the weirdest and most disturbing show I have ever watched. And a bit racist as well. This episode had about 3 story lines running at once all crammed into 30 minutes. But I will stick to the one particular story line. He sadly only had a very small part in it so I was a bit disappointed. Chris played Dougal Siepp,an ex business partner of one of the regular characters on the show who runs a "Dog Theater" (A cinema dedicated to dog films). Dougal Siepp returns to the town to open his new animal dedicated theater. I have to admit that bit was funny and the only bit that was funny. I won't give too much away for thous who wish to see it. But Chris in a big hat and a very PC British accent rather then the sexy northern one he has was very funny. I wouldn't watch the entire series of "The League of Gentlemen" as it's not my humor. Any one else seen this episode and what did you think? ![]() |

RE: The League of Gentleman - How the Elephant got his Trunk
I've posted the whole of his appearance in the vid section, here.
I don't like the show, but it has some good crazy moments. |
