RE: Little Hulton Café
Mood killer has arrived. Sorry folks need to vent.

Got word last night from my mum that she received an email from one of my cousins who is/was a nasty piece of work along with her mum. So much so my Grandmother cut them out of her will and wishes no contact with them as they treated her terribly. But that is a very long story so won't go into it.

Anyway the cousin is back in Scotland and working with the police, her mum is still in Tenerife. We heard earlier on in the year that she was having the symptoms that you would normally get for the first couple months of pregnancy we thought she had it off with her flat-mate and they were keeping quite because he was black. Sad I know I couldn't understand why they would want to hide it but they were dating ect.

Turns out it wasn't that, she was in hospital about a year ago for some pains in her stomach and they told her what it was and sent her away again, not sure what they said. But it was a misdiagnoses and it is Ovarian Cancer. Terminal as it had spread to the 2nd ovary. They removed what they could but they are going to treat what they couldn't remove because it was too embedded.

I personally cut her out of my life a long time ago because of the terrible things she did and now this and Grandma. Where not even sure if we should tell her about it because even she is very ill again with her kidney's and has her own problems and coming to terms with what is happening to her, getting this news will make her worst. We just don't know what to do.

This year has been real crappy for me for the most part with some highlights. Will be glad that it will be over.

Sorry killed mood.

J.

@Jad: Sorry to hear that. Family and relatives can be real troubles sometimes.

Tomorrow is my presentation day for my dissertation. I'm not sure whether I'm going to do it right, but I really hope that everything's going to be okay tomorrow. This presentation is going to be 10% of the overall marks and I don't want to screw this up because 10% is a lot.

Wow Tanja, I'm glad you are doing so well! I was a bit worried about you, but turns out you were just falling in love Big grin I hope your date is amazing!

Jadzia, I'm really sorry your family is having troubles. I can commiserate--the past couple of months have been a nightmare of family problems for me as well. I don't really even want to get into it. But things are more or less okay right now. Not great, but not horrible either. I do hope your situation improves though.

And Yenly, I just gave a 45 minute presentation this afternoon. I was so nervous! I was worried I hadn't done enough to practice the delivery of it. But I got through it and my classmates and professors seemed to really enjoy it. I have no idea how much this presentation counts towards my grade, they never told us :P Anyways, I sure you'll do great. You won't screw it up :D

I'm done with the presentation. I got the last turn. Waited 3 hours for my turn. By the time I stood there, everyone was already distracted. Anyway, it's done and I've done my best.

Hi, haven't been around for a while because I've been busy with the Music Practice degree I'm doing. But anyway this is kinda connected to it. I thought I'd post the recording of the final assessment piece for this term. It's a group composed piece ad there's six of us in the group. Would value some opinions on it really. Anyway here's the link Semester 1 Assessment piece Oh assessment is tomorrow so wish me luck we're playing that piece live and then the next week we have a Viva Voce on it.
