Of posts and email notifications

Anyone else have these problems?

1. There's no indication of new posts in the home screen, and yet, when I opened the thread, there are some new replies. Sometimes, it also happens the other way round.
2. I've ticked the "Do not subscribe to this thread", but I keep getting the email notifications.
3. Sometimes, my posts disappeared. So, it was posted successfully, but the next time I come in, it's not there
