I fell in love with Dr. Who when Chris portrayed him. I think David Tennant is excellent but Christopher really set the standard as the brilliant, creative, compassionate and very "human" Time Lord. Sometimes the story lines seemed a bit far out, but Chris always made them interesting and even believable.
Love this fansite, Ness. You have done a tremendous job on it.

Thank you for sharing so much info on Chris Eccleston. I've seen him in many films but just recently discovered by a chance movie rental of Jude at how amazing of an actor he really is.
Have you had a chance to watch him in a play? One of these days, i would like to visit London and hopefully have a chance to watch him on stage.

If possible you should avail yourself here of the 'breakfast interview' Chris did right before Dr. Who came out. Don't know where it was filmed originally, it was on the DVD. It's one of the few interviews where the host gives Chris time to really share his perspective and where he is coming from with things. I noticed some of the other interview hosts here tend to cut him off and turn to silly stuff.

Great web site! Good and laid out and mostly comprehensive. The most up-to-date I've seen. The film/tv clips are great, and I really love the interviews and 'off screen' stuff. As big as the movie-star stuff is, I find it even more important & meaningful the *way* he approaches his work, the mind set behind it, the thoughtfulness for the audience & the viewer and the meaning of what he's doing, appreciation of writers & others who contribute to the piece, etc, etc, etc! People like Chris restore my faith in actor-types as human beings.

I have just re-watched Chris's interviews on Blue Peter and Jonathan Ross and he is just fantastic! The website is brill and there is lots of info on it, well done. I wish I could meet Chris cos' he is just awesome and I would so love to be his - well, anything - I love him to pieces. And he is soooo sexy too with beautiful blue eyes. Gorgeous.

I recently saw my first episode of Dr. Who whilst visiting a friend. Needless to say I was hooked. As we don't have it on SA TV I begged him to copy all 4 Seasons for me. I rewatched the first episode and knew why I was hooked and his name was Christopher Eccleson. I did not know much about him. He has a certain rugged way about him and I LOVE his voice. This site is briliant as it has opened up a whole new world of Christopher for me. I would love to hear from other Christopher fans. THANK YOU for such a fantastic work.
