Doctor Who Magazine 413… I am voting on The Empty Child
This month's Doctor Who Magazine features the results of their poll to discover which story, in the programme's 46-year history, i
s the most popular. The magazine is available with four different covers, featuring the Fourth, Fifth, Ninth and Tenth Doctors each in one of their highest-rated stories. The poll also details the most popular series, the highest-rated story for each Doctor and asks which Dalek story is the most admired.
I am voting on The Empty Child. Not only because Chris is the Doctor BUT The story is actually a two parter(The Doctor Dances) and ends in a happy ending! None of the other stories can offer that for you now can they?
The 9th- "Just this once, everybody lives!"

My GI Joe Movie Review
Finally I was able to take some time out of my hectic schedule and see GI Joe last night.
It was fantastic, very upbeat and full of action. I loved the full story line with Snake Eyes and Shadowstorm, Duke, Ana and Rex and off course the McCullen/Destro legacy. Although to be honest there wasn't enough Chris for me and when I left the theater I was thinking about how ANYONE can play McCullen/Destro now that the mask had been applied. You know they will make a sequel, probably two more like Transformers, but I don't see Chris coming back for that. We will probably see flashbacks but that is it.
All in all the movie was great and I think the people giving the bad reviews are the ones who are GI Joe freaks who want a movie that sticks exactly to the comic books and cartoons of the 80's. I just say that is boring and the movie would have been a flop if it had. Who wants to see a bunch of guys running around in camouflage suits for two hours. I like the shiny suits!
I give it 5 out of 5

I had to go and watch an 11 pm night show because of my schedule and on my next day off I will go see it again but not so late.

Direct to VOD: Cinetic's Film Buff Launches with New Orleans Mon Amour … New Clip!
Source:Varietys Thompson on Hollywood
More and more, movies that ordinarily would get a theatrical release are taking the direct train to VOD. In this instance, writer-director Michael Almereyda's New Orleans Mon Amour, which was filmed in post-Katrina New Orleans with real folks as well as a few good actors, played the 2008 fest circuit, including SXSW. Now the hurricane recovery drama (which conjures up the post-atomic classic Hiroshima Mon Amour) will make its debut July 15 on Cable VOD via the new channel Cinetic Film Buff, followed by portals iTunes and Amazon VOD.

Crossing the Dark Sea Added to Audio Clips

I have added the Crossing the Dark Sea to the Audio Clips section… Enjoy!
Christopher Eccleston plays Alec, a young British soldier destined for France and for war. Katherine Jenkins sings the voice of his sweetheart, Sian, in a poetic response to the day's events.
