Vince and Rosie Boyd are happily married apart from one thing – no children. They've tried everything, but no luck. Then Benoit  arrives. He was Rosie's penpal for a number of years but until now they have never met. Rosie finds herself attracted to the handsome Frenchman. As their closeness turns into an affair, Vince restarts a relationship with old flame Cathy.
